Nigerian artist, A&R (artists and repertoire) executive and executive producer Kiing Lu will release a new single, “Get Up (Dance)”, on September 18, 2026.
The track combines drill and fuji, pairing contemporary hip-hop energy with Nigerian musical influences. It features Nigerian pop singer Liya, hip-hop artist Bkay EastGaad and Afro singer Nextee, who brings a fuji influence to the record.
Kiing Lu described the single as a personal expression of his path between the sounds that shaped him and his interest in what African drill can become.
“I grew up listening to a lot of Nigerian indigenous music and I found my voice through Hip-Hop. I wanted to know what would happen if indigenous sounds met the sound I love. ‘Get Up (Dance)’ is my answer.”
Kiing Lu said the single is part of his effort to expand the creative range of drill music in Africa while keeping it connected to African identity and culture.
“Get Up (Dance)” will be available across all major streaming platforms on September 18, 2026.
