Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms cover your use of afrobeatswire.com. By reading, linking to or otherwise using the site, you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.
Who publishes this site
Afrobeats Wire is published by The InterSpace Group. Questions about these terms go to legal@afrobeatswire.com.
What you may do
You are welcome to read the site, link to any page on it, and quote a short extract from an article as long as you attribute Afrobeats Wire and link back to the page you took it from. That is normal quotation and we encourage it.
What you may not do
- Republish a whole article, or so much of one that a reader has no reason to visit the original.
- Scrape, crawl for bulk copying, or systematically download the site or any part of it.
- Resell our content, or put it behind your own paywall.
- Remove or alter attribution, bylines, datelines or copyright notices.
- Present our reporting as your own, or present edited versions as if we published them.
- Attack the site, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
We reserve all rights in this site for the purposes of text and data mining, including for training machine learning and generative AI systems. This is an express reservation under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and any equivalent provision elsewhere. If you want a licence for that purpose, write to legal@afrobeatswire.com.
Datasets are licensed separately
Every dataset behind a Data story is published with its source, its method, the date it was retrieved and its own licence line, and can be downloaded as CSV or JSON. Those licence terms govern the dataset, not this page. Where a dataset is built on someone else’s figures, rights in the underlying figures stay with that source.
The company directory
Profiles in the company directory are compiled from public sources. A listing is not an endorsement, a ranking, or a statement that a company is trading. If a profile about your company is wrong or out of date, write to corrections@afrobeatswire.com and we will look at it.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, you are asking us to email you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, and we will stop. How we handle the address is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Accuracy and availability
We work to get things right and we correct what we get wrong, but the site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that every figure is free of error, or that it is fit for any particular purpose of yours. Please read the Disclaimer, which limits what our reporting should be relied on for.
Other people’s sites
We link out often. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Afrobeats Wire and The InterSpace Group are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of this site or from anything you did or did not do on the strength of something published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
