From March 2023 the credit names GNT Nation as the phonogram owner and MAD Solutions LLC as exclusive licensee, which on its face is a licence of the recordings to a distributor, not a transfer of ownership to it. Publishing (songwriting) rights are NOT covered by this record: no publisher or administrator for Mercy Chinwo as a writer was established, and the writer and publisher registrations behind these works could not be retrieved.

Read this before citing: NO CONTRACT WAS OBTAINED, AND NO TRANSACTION WAS EVER ANNOUNCED. Neither Mercy Chinwo, EeZee Conceptz, GNT Nation nor MAD Solutions LLC has published an agreement, a deal announcement or a dated statement of transfer. The entire documentary basis for the ownership change in this record is the phonogram credit line on Apple Music and the label field on Deezer, cross-checked against one another. Terms, splits, advances, territory, term length and any reversion or buyout are not known and are not implied.

THE TWO PARTIES' STATEMENTS CONFLICT, AND THIS RECORD DOES NOT RESOLVE THE CONFLICT. EeZee Conceptz states that all intellectual property tied to Mercy Chinwo's music remains its property under the contract. Mercy Chinwo, through her lawyer, alleges that a 2019 contract replaced a 2017 one and allocated lifetime ownership of all her music works to the label's founder, and separately states she is not seeking the catalogue. Which contract governs, and what it actually says, could not be established. Nothing in this record should be read as a finding that either party's account is correct.

THE CREDIT LINE EVIDENCES WHO IS CLAIMED AS RIGHTS HOLDER, NOT WHO A COURT WOULD FIND OWNS THE COPYRIGHT. A phonogram credit is supplied by whoever delivers the release to the service. It is strong evidence of the commercial position each side is taking, and it is the best record available here, but it is not an adjudication and it is not a register of title.

THE PRE-2022 CATALOGUE HAS NOT MOVED. Every Mercy Chinwo release from 2017 to 2021 checked on both services still carries the EeZee Conceptz credit as at 14 September 2026. Nothing located suggests those recordings have been reassigned, and the label's public position is that they have not.

PUBLISHING IS OUT OF SCOPE AND COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED. Mercy Chinwo's statement alleges the label founder was falsely listed as writer on her songs and withheld publishing revenue for seven years. This desk attempted to test that against writer and publisher registrations and failed: the ASCAP ACE repertory returned HTTP 403 to this server, the Mechanical Licensing Collective's public work search rejected search requests at its firewall (HTTP 403 on POST), the ISWCNET search endpoint returned HTTP 500, and the PRS online repertoire search did not resolve. No writer or publisher registration for any Mercy Chinwo work was retrieved. The allegation is recorded as an allegation and is neither supported nor contradicted here.

THE CRIMINAL CHARGES ARE UNTESTED ALLEGATIONS AND ARE NOT AN OWNERSHIP RULING. Charge sheet ID/25810c/25 alleges dishonest conversion of money. It makes no finding about who owns any master recording. Two fetched reports agree that no arraignment date had been fixed on that charge; in a separate money laundering and foreign exchange matter before the Federal High Court in Lagos the defendant pleaded not guilty. The current status of both matters as at September 2026 could not be established.

THE REGISTERED ENTITY BEHIND "EEZEE CONCEPTZ" IS NOT CONFIRMED. The phonogram credit reads "EeZee Conceptz"; a 2023 compilation on Apple Music reads "EeZee Global"; the charge sheet names "Eezee Global Concepts Limited". Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission has no public search interface and no incorporation document was obtained, so whether these are one company is not established.

MERCY CHINWO'S OWN STAKE IN GNT NATION IS NOT ESTABLISHED. GNT Nation is reported as founded by Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, whom she married in 2022, and is described in some reports as co-founded with her. No shareholding document was obtained. This record does NOT claim that Mercy Chinwo personally owns her post-2023 masters. It claims only that the credited phonogram owner is GNT Nation rather than EeZee Conceptz.
