Super Cool Cats is a Nigerian record label imprint owned by rapper Ice Prince (Panshak Henry Zamani). It was first unveiled in May 2016 as one of two artist-run imprints under Chocolate City Music, alongside Jesse Jagz’s JagzNation, with Ice Prince named as owner and head. He has since described running it independently, telling an interviewer in March 2021: “I set up my own company called Super Cool Cats, which I got a full endorsement from Chocolate City for, and I started running my own company.”

The label has no formal corporate registration found in public record and no independent website; its only verifiable presence is the phonogram (P) credit on Ice Prince’s own releases from 2018 onward, including his 2024 album Fire & Ice, distributed under an exclusive licence to Dvpper Digital. Storefront metadata renders the name with minor variations (Super Cool Cats Ent., Super Cool Cats Entertainment, Super Cool Cat), which this desk reads as inconsistent crediting on an unregistered imprint rather than separate entities, given the single founder, catalogue and bookings contact across all variants.

Super Cool Cats operates in Nigeria and has not signed artists beyond Ice Prince’s own output in any sourceable capacity. It illustrates a common structure in the Nigerian music industry: an artist-owned label imprint that exists to carry an individual’s catalogue credits rather than to operate as a standalone signing or distribution business.
