GhenGhen Music Empire is the imprint of the Nigerian singer Orezi (Esegine Allen). Orezi announced it publicly on 19 February 2018 as a company that would, in his words, sign “every upcoming artiste out there”, though the name already appears in phonogram credits on releases dated 2016. It is named as the phonogram owner on 30 of the 77 collections Apple Music attributes to Orezi, across releases dated 2016 to 2026, the most recent being the eleven-track album “King of Faaji”.

The imprint is artist-owned and independent. No shareholding, director or beneficial-ownership record for it has been located in any register searched, including a UK Companies House name search, so the ownership position rests on Orezi’s own statement and on the credit line of his releases rather than on a filing. Despite the stated intention in 2018 to sign other acts, no document located shows the imprint holding rights in any artist other than Orezi himself, which makes it a rights-holding vehicle for one catalogue rather than a label in the signing sense.

Distribution runs through third parties under licence. Nine releases from June 2022 onward carry the imprint “under exclusive license to ONErpm”, and two earlier releases were licensed to Notjustok Distribution. That wording describes distribution under licence rather than a transfer of the masters, which remain credited to the imprint. The name is rendered inconsistently across stores, appearing as GehnGehn, Gehn Gehn, Ghen Ghen and GhenGhen, with and without “Music” or “Empire”, and the imprint maintains no website.
