The Sociedade Cabo-verdiana de Musica (SCM) is Cape Verde’s music collecting society, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Praia, with a northern delegation in Mindelo.
It manages the economic and moral rights of people working in music in Cape Verde, licensing users and distributing royalties for public performance and mechanical reproduction of musical works and phonograms. It represents its members and foreign rights holders, and maintains partnerships with counterpart societies across Africa and in Portugal.
