Live Nation Entertainment

US live entertainment and ticketing group. Its SEC subsidiary exhibits name eleven African-jurisdiction companies across five countries, from Big Concerts in 2016 to Quicket in 2024.

Based in
Beverly Hills, California, United States

Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. is a United States live entertainment promoter, venue operator and ticketing group listed on the New York Stock Exchange as LYV. It is a registrant with the Securities and Exchange Commission and files an annual Form 10-K.

Its African footprint is documented in Exhibit 21.1 to that filing, the list of subsidiaries. The exhibit filed for the year ended 31 December 2015 named no African-jurisdiction company. The exhibit filed for 2016, after Live Nation announced in February 2016 that it had acquired a controlling interest in Big Concerts International Proprietary Limited, named four South African entities. Ticketmaster South Africa (Pty) Ltd was added in the exhibit filed for 2020.

The exhibit filed for 2024 names ten African-jurisdiction entities, up from five, after Ticketmaster acquired Cape Town ticketing platform Quicket in July 2024. The exhibit filed for 2025 names eleven, across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.

Exhibit 21.1 states legal name and jurisdiction of incorporation only. It does not state ownership percentages, and registrants may omit subsidiaries that are insignificant in the aggregate.
