South African rapper South African rapper Issi has released 6lekkes ~ Rd 6, an eight-track project that arrived on 25 September 2026.
The Chesterville-born artist follows his earlier project Dawn ~ The Beginning with a release that continues his measured approach to South African hip-hop.
Singles and collaborations#
The project follows the release of “Go Down Low,” which dropped a week earlier and features production from Coach Kling alongside background vocals from Natasha MD. The track introduced a laid-back, late-night feel that carries into the wider project.
Issi brings Lowfeye into the fold on “No More Tears,” with Subbgotclout handling production. The project also features The North Mob on “Hop Out,” bringing together Carlow Picasso, Orieblxckmaestro, Trophy and MajorIcey. Crxigcreates and Lucent.exe provide the production on the track.
Tracklist#
Elsewhere, the eight-track project includes “Ishayile,” produced by Crxigcreates, as well as “Safe,” which features Natasha MD and production from Therealslaypapi. The tracklist is rounded out by songs including “Play Flair” and “Coshu’pin.”
