Big Concerts International is named in Live Nation Entertainment's Form 10-K Exhibit 21.1, the annual list of subsidiaries of the registrant, in every filing checked from the year the deal closed through the most recent filing available: financial years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025. The entity's recorded name changes once across that span, from Big Concerts International Pty Ltd in the earliest exhibits to Big Concerts International (Pty) Limited in the FY2025 exhibit filed 19 February 2026. Two related entities move during the same period. TNL Technologies Proprietary Limited, named alongside Big Concerts in the FY2016 exhibit, is absent from the FY2017 exhibit onward. Live Nation Media and Sponsorship (Pty) Ltd first appears in that same FY2017 exhibit, filed 27 February 2018. No filing checked explains whether one entity's business was folded into the other, and this record does not claim a rename. Ticketmaster South Africa (Pty) Ltd first appears in the FY2020 exhibit, filed 1 March 2021, extending the South African group into ticketing five years after the promoter acquisition.

What changed hands in February 2016 was a controlling interest in Big Concerts International Proprietary Limited, the South African concert promotion and touring business founded in 1989 by Attie van Wyk. The announcement names no master recording right, publishing right, or catalogue interest anywhere in the transaction. Big Concerts books, promotes and stages live tours and events; it does not own artist recordings or compositions. Live Nation Entertainment's Form 10-K Exhibit 21.1 first names Big Concerts International Pty Ltd, together with three related South African entities, Big Concession Management Proprietary Limited, Big Merchandise Proprietary Limited and TNL Technologies Proprietary Limited, in the filing covering the 2016 financial year. Neither the press release nor any Exhibit 21.1 checked states the percentage of share capital acquired.

Read this before citing: WHAT THIS RECORD DOES NOT ESTABLISH. First, the price. Neither the 2016 announcement nor any Exhibit 21.1 checked discloses consideration, currency or a percentage of share capital acquired. "Controlling interest" is the only description either party has given. This desk publishes no figure and no percentage. Second, whether the stake ever reached full ownership. Exhibit 21.1 requires only the legal name and jurisdiction of a subsidiary; it does not distinguish a wholly owned subsidiary from one in which the registrant holds a bare majority. Continuous naming across ten years establishes that Big Concerts has remained a subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment throughout that period; it does not establish the size of the interest at any point in it. Third, the TNL Technologies substitution. This desk checked the exhibits named above and found no document explaining why TNL Technologies Proprietary Limited stopped being named after FY2016 or what relationship, if any, it has to Live Nation Media and Sponsorship (Pty) Ltd, which appears the same year. Fourth, competition clearance. Whether the acquisition was notified to or reviewed by South Africa's Competition Commission or Competition Tribunal could not be established; a search of the Tribunal's public case record returned no matching filing.
