South African artist South African artist Zee Nxumalo has released the official music video for “Ngithathiwe”, her single with Funky Qla and Dlala Thukzin, on Friday, 14 August 2026.
The track closes Izinja Zam: Vol. I, a four-song extended play (EP). It combines Amapiano with the 3 Step sound. Funky Qla and Dlala Thukzin handled production, arrangement and mixing, while Zee Nxumalo took the lead on lyrics.
Radio and streaming performance
Before the video’s release, “Ngithathiwe” had already built an online following. In July 2026, it ranked number 34 among the most played songs on South African radio, with more than 4.96 million audience impressions, 356 spins across 46 stations.
The EP has reached Gold certification in South Africa after surpassing 2.6 million South African streams and more than 20,000 units sold.
