Mntomnandi, Ama Grootman and SoulQue have joined DJ Kayd Boizen on ‘Nkosi Ngiphe Amandla’, a new Amapiano single from South Africa built around faith, resilience and the search for strength in difficult periods.
The title translates to ‘God, Give Me Strength’. Its production draws on contemporary Amapiano rhythms and energy, combining log drums with melodic lines and themes of prayer, persistence and overcoming hardship.
The artists use lived experience to address the challenges of navigating hard times while urging listeners to remain hopeful. The track also moves between settings: its spiritual themes support reflection and worship, while its Amapiano production fits dance floors, playlists and short-form video formats.
Mntomnandi, Ama Grootman and SoulQue are part of a wider group of South African acts blending Amapiano, Afro House and spiritual influences. Their work reflects the genre’s reach beyond clubs into churches, community spaces and digital platforms.
The collaboration with DJ Kayd Boizen centers on healing, motivation and resilience. The song does not treat faith and contemporary dance music as separate; it places them in the same musical structure, using Amapiano’s rhythmic foundation to deliver a message of perseverance.
