RFM Senegal
Senegalese music and news radio station in Dakar, part of Youssou N'Dour's Groupe Futurs Medias.
RFM, or Radio Futurs Medias, is a Senegalese radio station broadcasting from Dakar, launched in 2003. It streams online alongside its FM signal and broadcasts across a network of Senegalese frequencies.
It is owned by Groupe Futurs Medias, the Senegalese media group founded by the musician Youssou N’Dour, which also publishes the newspaper L’Observateur and runs the television channel TFM.
It matters as the radio arm of a media group built by one of Africa’s best known musicians, and as a leading commercial music and news station in Senegal.
