Nogoum FM is an Egyptian music radio station broadcasting on 100.6 FM from Cairo, launched in 2003 as the first private radio station in Egypt. It streams online alongside its FM signal.
It is owned by Nile Radio Productions, the private Egyptian company headed by Ayman Salem, which also owns Nile FM, Nogoum Records and NRP Music.
It matters as the station that opened private radio in Egypt and a major airplay outlet for Arabic popular music.
