Digital Sound is an Egypt-based digital-distribution and value-added-services (VAS) company serving the Middle East and North Africa market. Founded in 2001, it provides turn-key VAS infrastructure, including SMS and IVR gateways and managed ring-back-tone (RBT) systems, through direct links to regional mobile operators such as Orange, Vodafone and Etisalat.
For music clients specifically, Digital Sound functions as a digital aggregator: it distributes content for record labels and independent artists across streaming and mobile platforms and manages YouTube channels on their behalf. It describes itself as a market leader in RBT and digital distribution services across the MENA region.
No independent trade-press profile, leadership name or company roster was found beyond Digital Sound’s own website and Facebook page, so ownership and management structure could not be confirmed for this record.
