Avex USA Publishing was the Los Angeles-based publishing division of Avex USA Inc., a wholly owned US subsidiary of Japan’s Avex Inc. Naoki Osada launched Avex USA’s North American operation in 2018 and led it as president until 2025. The division signed songwriters and producers directly and through joint ventures with independent publishers.

In October 2023, Avex USA Publishing formed a joint venture with Los Angeles-based Coup D’Etat Music to sign Nigerian Afrobeats artist Victony to a global publishing deal. In March 2025, Avex Inc. folded Avex USA’s assets and staff into a newly formed Avex Music Group, led by Brandon Silverstein as CEO after Avex acquired his S10 Music Publishing catalogue; the Avex USA name is no longer in use. No source found states what became of Avex USA Publishing’s pre-existing signed catalogue, including the Victony joint venture, in that consolidation, and Avex Music Group’s current roster material does not list Victony.

Ownership: wholly owned division of Avex Inc. (Tokyo), now consolidated into Avex Music Group.
