- Black Belt Music, AllPoints, Believe, Géante Rouge, Play Two, Chahawat, Sony Music Entertainment France
- Amount
- Not disclosed. No consideration, advance, royalty rate or term length has been stated by any party.
- Rights covered
- Exclusive distribution of master recordings credited to Black Belt. This is a distribution relationship, not an assignment: the credit line names Black Belt as the phonogram owner and names AllPoints only as the distributor. No transfer of master ownership to AllPoints or to Believe is stated anywhere reviewed, and none should be inferred. Publishing is not covered by this record and the publisher or administrator of the underlying compositions has not been established. The pre-2020 catalogue is unaffected: releases such as Est-ce que tu m'aimes ? still carried "℗ Wati-B, under exclusive licence to Sony Music Entertainment France SAS" as recently as a 30 July 2024 reissue, and the 2017 to 2019 album cycle still carries ℗ Chahawat.
- Territory
- Not stated. The credit line says "exclusive distribution" without naming a territory. Black Belt Music SAS, the only French company registered under that name, has its registered office in Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe. Believe and AllPoints are French. Nothing reviewed establishes whether the arrangement is French, Francophone, or worldwide.

Read this before citing: Three things are not established and are not asserted anywhere in this record. First, whether the Black Belt Music SAS registered in Guadeloupe (SIREN 941758039) is the same Black Belt named on the GIMS phonogram credit line. The register contains exactly one company of that name in the sound recording sector and it was incorporated eight months before the first Black Belt credit appeared, but that is a name match in the right sector, not a documented connection. Second, the relationship, if any, between Thierry Amiens, the registered President of that company, and GIMS. Nothing reviewed connects them. Third, the identity of the entity behind the Géante Rouge imprint: no French registration exists under that name in any music sector, and the nearest name match, LA COMPAGNIE DE LA GEANTE ROUGE (SIREN 893885293, performing arts), has not been shown to be connected. Separately, the date in this record is the date the AllPoints distribution phrase first appeared on a credit line, not an announcement date. No party announced this arrangement. Black Belt credits from 28 November 2025 to 17 July 2026 name no distributor at all, so it cannot be established from these documents when the AllPoints arrangement actually began.
What changed hands: the named exclusive distributor of new master recordings by GIMS, born Gandhi Djuna in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. From 24 July 2026 the phonogram credit line on his lead releases reads “℗ 2026 Black Belt, under exclusive distribution to AllPoints, a division of Believe”. For the five years before that, from 31 August 2020 to 7 November 2025, the credit named the imprint Géante Rouge, at first with Play Two and Indifference Prod and with Sony Music Entertainment France SAS as the stated distributor.
This record covers a distribution relationship and the identity of the credited phonogram owner. It does not record a transfer of master ownership, because no document reviewed states that one occurred.

What the company register shows
A search of the French national company register returns no company named Géante Rouge or Geante Rouge in the sound recording and music publishing sector, or in any related music sector. The owning entity behind five years of GIMS releases could not be established from public registers.
Exactly one company is registered under the name Black Belt Music: BLACK BELT MUSIC, SAS, SIREN 941758039, NAF 59.20Z, incorporated 6 March 2025, registered office Rue Elie Lacroix, 97120 Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe, President Thierry Amiens. Afrobeats Wire has not established that this company is the Black Belt named on the credit line. The match is a name match in the correct industry sector and nothing more.
AllPoints has no French registration of its own, consistent with it being a brand operated by a Believe entity. Believe’s own corporate site describes AllPoints as part of the label division it built and runs.
Not disclosed
No consideration, advance, royalty rate, term length or territory has been published by any party for the AllPoints arrangement. No party has announced it at all. The only public statement of its existence is the phonogram credit line itself.
