British startup Yoto unveils fourth-generation Yoto Player and Mini

Yoto has introduced fourth-generation versions of its Yoto Player and Yoto Mini with a new Green Button for card-free audio access.

Yoto Player and Yoto Mini fourth-generation devices

Yoto, a United Kingdom-based children’s audio startup, has introduced fourth-generation versions of its Yoto Player and Yoto Mini.

The company first launched its original kids’ speaker on Kickstarter in 2017. A central feature of the new devices is a “new Green Button,” which allows children to play favourite stories and playlists from the companion app without inserting one of Yoto’s physical cards.

Parents and carers can also set up routines on the new Player, such as a daily podcast and toothbrush timer in the morning, and lullabies or white noise at bedtime.

The Player is priced at £119.99 and the Mini at £89.99. The Mini is expected to ship by the end of September, with the Player following by mid-October.

Yoto reported revenue of £94.8m in 2024, up nearly 86% year on year, in its most recent financial results. The company’s 2025 financials are expected to be published in the near future.
