Following the release of her EP Solstice earlier this year, Viveeyan returns with
“MY HOME,” an alternative single exploring the feeling of finding home in another person.
Tender, immersive, and quietly romantic, “MY HOME” moves through longing, familiarity, and the comfort of being completely at ease with someone. Its lyrics imagine love as a place of refuge, where the noise of the outside world gives way to closeness and calm.
The single arrives in three versions: the full recording, a no-drums version, and a stripped version, each offering a different perspective on the song.
Having previously released two EPs, Slice and Solstice, Viveeyan continues to explore the possibilities of her blended sound. While Solstice leaned into Afropop, its opening track, “Shapeshifting,” introduced an alternative texture that also finds expression in “MY HOME.”
