Kasuwa Distro is a record label and music production company in Niamey, Niger, headed by Abdoul Kader Hassan Hamadou. Its own catalogue page states a Nigerien business registration under NIF 79455/P and RCCM NE-NIM-01-2021-A10-10470.
The label is independent and Nigerien-owned, with no parent company or outside shareholder identified in any source located. In 2024 it entered a representation deal with the Brazilian digital distributor Nikita Music, which announced Kasuwa Distro as one of its African partners. The arrangement is distribution representation rather than a transfer of rights: a Kasuwa release on Audiomack carries a Kasuwa Distro phonogram credit alone, with no Nikita credit on the underlying recording.
Niger has little in the way of a documented recorded-music corporate sector, which makes a label there with stated registration numbers and an international distribution deal worth recording. A March 2024 Kasuwa-linked release on YouTube carries the credit “Provided to YouTube by Nikita Music”, showing the distribution relationship was operating within weeks of the announcement. Release credits suggest reach beyond Niger into other West African markets through third-party distribution.
