Modern Media Acquisition Corp.

Based in
United States

Modern Media Acquisition Corp. was a special purpose acquisition company formed under Delaware law to pursue a combination with a media, entertainment or marketing services business. Its registration statement on Form S-1 became effective on 11 May 2017 and its initial public offering on 17 May 2017 raised $207 million into trust.

Having missed its original February 2019 deadline, it saw most of that trust redeemed. By the time it combined with Akazoo Limited on 11 September 2019, $14.2 million of the original $207 million remained. Lewis W. Dickey, Jr. served as non-executive chairman of the combined company. Akazoo S.A. is a successor issuer to Modern Media Acquisition Corp. under Exchange Act Rule 12g-3(a).
