Read this before citing: THE PHONOGRAM CREDIT IS NOT A STATEMENT OF SHARES. Every Odeal release checked from June 2024 onward carries "OVMBR/LVRN Records (Love Renaissance)", reversed to "LVRN Records (Love Renaissance)/OVMBR" on 2026 releases. A joint credit of this form does not state what proportion of the master either party owns, and it does not carry the "under exclusive license from" wording that would indicate a licence rather than ownership. Do not report LVRN as the owner of Odeal's masters, and do not report OVMBR as the sole owner. Neither is established.
WHICH OVMBR COMPANY IS ON THE CREDIT IS NOT ESTABLISHED. The phonogram line reads "OVMBR" with no company suffix. Two UK companies carry the name at the same registered office: OVMBR LTD (12481117, incorporated 25 February 2020, SIC 59200 sound recording and music publishing activities) and OVMBR SOUNDS LIMITED (16138139, incorporated 16 December 2024, SIC 93290 other amusement and recreation activities). The credit may refer to either, to both, or to an unregistered trading name.
THE TWO COMPANIES RECORD DIFFERENT CONTROL POSITIONS. On the UK register read 29 September 2026, Hillary Dennis Udanoh holds 75 per cent or more of the shares and voting rights in OVMBR SOUNDS LIMITED together with the right to appoint and remove directors, but his registered nature of control in OVMBR LTD is ownership of more than 25 per cent but not more than 50 per cent of shares. He is the only active person with significant control of either company. The register does not disclose who holds the balance of OVMBR LTD. Companies House does not verify the accuracy of information filed with it.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE DIRECTOR. The register names the director and controller of both companies as Hillary Dennis Udanoh, date of birth December 1999, nationality Nigerian and British. Sony Music Publishing's December 2025 announcement and general reference sources give Odeal's legal name as Hillary Dennis Udanoh with a December 1999 date of birth. The identification rests on that match of name, birth month and year, and nationality, together with the SIC code and the imprint name. No single document states both the stage name and the company number.
THE WARNER PERIOD RESTS ON REGISTRY EVIDENCE ONLY. "OVMBR: Roses" (27 November 2020) and "OVMBR: Hits No Mrs" (19 November 2021) are recorded in a rights registry against Warner Records and Warner Records UK respectively. Neither release surfaced in a direct catalogue search of Apple's store on 29 September 2026, so no phonogram line was read for either. No announcement of a Warner signing and no announcement of its end was located. Do not report a Warner Records deal as confirmed on this evidence.
PUBLISHING IS A SEPARATE AGREEMENT AND ITS STRUCTURE IS UNKNOWN. Sony Music Publishing announced a "worldwide publishing agreement" with Odeal on 8 December 2025. The announcement does not state whether copyright in the compositions is assigned to Sony Music Publishing or whether it is appointed administrator, and states no term, no territory carve-out and no consideration. Do not report Sony Music Publishing as the owner of Odeal's publishing, and do not report it as administrator. Neither word appears in the announcement.
NO CONSIDERATION HAS BEEN DISCLOSED FOR ANY ARRANGEMENT DESCRIBED HERE. No advance, royalty rate, term, option or territory has been published by Odeal, OVMBR, LVRN, Sony Music Publishing or Warner Records.
DISTRIBUTION IS NOT ESTABLISHED. No source reviewed names the distributor of the OVMBR and LVRN releases. Do not infer one from LVRN's other arrangements.
THE 2024 RE-DATING IS A RE-DELIVERY, NOT A PROVEN TRANSFER. Six recordings first issued between 2017 and 2022 now carry a 2024 phonogram year under the joint credit. This evidences that the catalogue was re-delivered to stores under the new credit. It does not establish that ownership changed hands, and no party has explained it.
NO NOTIFIED CHANGE IN THE OVMBR LTD BAND. On the register read 29 September 2026, Hillary Dennis Udanoh was notified on 25 February 2020 with nature of control "Ownership of shares – More than 25% but not more than 50%" and is still recorded in that band. Oluwabukola David Kamson was notified the same day in the identical band and ceased on 1 March 2023. A person with significant control is only required to file again on crossing a band boundary, so holdings can change within a band without any filing. The register therefore does not show who acquired Kamson's shares, and it does not show Udanoh crossing 50 per cent. Do not report that he holds exactly half, and do not report that he acquired his co-founder's stake. Neither is established.
Every Odeal release checked from June 2024 onward carries the same phonogram credit: OVMBR, the imprint he founded, alongside LVRN Records (Love Renaissance), the Atlanta label. No release states that either party owns or licenses the other’s share, and no party has published a deal structure, a term, a territory or a figure. Separately, the UK company register records Odeal, legal name Hillary Dennis Udanoh, as holding no more than half the shares in OVMBR LTD, the company registered for sound recording activities, while holding 75 per cent or more of OVMBR SOUNDS LIMITED, incorporated in December 2024.
What the credit line shows, year by year
Phonogram credits were read directly from Apple’s catalogue on 29 September 2026. They divide into five distinct periods.

The 2020 and 2021 Warner credits are taken from a rights registry rather than from a phonogram line. Neither release surfaced in a direct catalogue search of Apple’s store on 29 September 2026, so the Warner period is recorded here on registry evidence alone and is the weakest link in the sequence.
The back catalogue was re-dated in 2024
Six recordings first issued between 2017 and 2022 now carry a 2024 phonogram year and the joint OVMBR/LVRN credit: “Hold You Up” (first issued 10 September 2017), “Blessings” (26 October 2019), “Pause It” (23 January 2020), “Sage” (25 February 2020), “Coffee (Don’t Read Signs)” (5 May 2022) and “Kainji Dam” (29 July 2022). A phonogram year that post-dates the recording’s first release is the signature of a re-delivery: the catalogue was put back into the stores under the new credit rather than left under the old one. No party has said why, or on what terms.
Two companies, two very different positions

Both companies share a registered office at 2nd Floor, Northumberland House, 303-306 High Holborn, London WC1V 7JZ. Udanoh is the only active person with significant control of either. In OVMBR LTD a second founding director and controller, Oluwabukola David Kamson, was appointed at incorporation and resigned on 1 March 2023, ceasing to hold control the same day. Kamson’s registered nature of control was the same band as Udanoh’s, more than 25 per cent and not more than 50 per cent of shares. Udanoh was notified in that band on 25 February 2020 and is still recorded in it, and no notification showing him crossing 50 per cent has been filed. The register does not say who holds the balance of OVMBR LTD, and because no other person appears on its register of people with significant control, any remaining holders each sit below the 25 per cent notification threshold or are not individually notifiable.
Publishing is a separate agreement
On 8 December 2025 Sony Music Publishing announced the signing of Odeal to what its own announcement calls “a worldwide publishing agreement”. The announcement names Senior Director, Creative A&R Shauni Caballero, and quotes Odeal saying he is “excited to be working with Shauni and a team I trust”. It does not say whether the agreement assigns copyright in the compositions to Sony Music Publishing or appoints it as administrator, it states no term, it carves out no territory, and it discloses no consideration. Publishing and masters are different assets: nothing in that announcement bears on who owns the recordings.
What is not established
- What LVRN’s interest is. A joint phonogram credit is not a statement of shares. Nothing reviewed establishes whether LVRN owns a portion of the masters, licenses them, funds them, distributes them, or some combination. The credit does not carry the “under exclusive license from” wording that would indicate a licence.
- Which OVMBR company is on the credit. The line reads “OVMBR” with no company suffix and could refer to either registered company or to neither.
- Who holds the rest of OVMBR LTD. The register discloses only that Udanoh holds between 25 and 50 per cent.
- Whether the 2024 re-delivery moved ownership. A changed phonogram year evidences a re-release, not a transfer.
- Any consideration. No advance, royalty rate, term or territory has been disclosed by Odeal, OVMBR, LVRN, Sony Music Publishing or Warner Records for any of the arrangements described here.
- Distribution. No source reviewed names the distributor of the OVMBR/LVRN releases.
- The Warner period. Whether the 2020 and 2021 Warner Records credits reflect a signing, a licence or a one-off distribution arrangement is not established, and no announcement or termination was located.
