Rundown Launches to Stop Lost Split Sheets and Producer Credits

Rundown has launched a release management platform to help music managers log credits, split sheets and distribution requirements from the first recording session.

A new release management platform called Rundown has launched to help music managers, artists and repertoire (A&R) executives track credits, files and distribution requirements from the first recording session.

The platform is available at rundown.ink. It is designed for managers, A&R representatives and label executives to log every song at the time it is recorded, rather than waiting until the final days before a release.

According to the company, most managers currently organize a release only in the final days before it drops. By that point, producer credits are forgotten, split sheets are lost in old chat threads, and files are scattered across phones, laptops, and cloud drives. Rundown flips that timeline: every song gets logged the day it is recorded, with a running checklist of what is needed before it can go out.

Platform features#

  • Full song credits, covering songwriter, producer, vocalist, A&R, and more, with support for multiple contributors per role
  • A live distribution checklist tracking audio, artwork, split sheets, and producer agreements
  • A built-in split sheet generator with automatic publishing and royalty math checks
  • Separate, purpose-built sends: full paperwork to distributors, just the music and artwork to DJs, radio, and blogs
  • Everything organized directly inside the manager’s own Google Drive, with no new storage silo to manage

“Every manager I know has a story about losing a split sheet or forgetting who produced a song by the time it’s ready to release,” said Solomon Akinkunmi, also known as Frvky, founder of Rundown. “This isn’t a generic productivity app repurposed for music. It’s built specifically for the way a release actually comes together, from the first session to the final send.”

Availability and background#

Rundown is available now at rundown.ink, with a free Standard plan for managers working with up to two artists. Additional tiers for larger rosters and label scale deployments are in development.

Rundown was founded by Solomon Akinkunmi, also known as Frvky, who is co-founder and CEO of Jetron Ticket, an event discovery and ticketing platform.
