CMH Live, legally registered as Cajon Music House Limited, is a Kampala-based artist-development company founded in 2017 by Ugandan musician and educator Collin Sserunjogi. It runs a concert series across East Africa, including The Music House Live, Mutaki Live and the Equity Festival in Gulu, alongside The Academy Musician Fellowship, a free seven-month programme for aspiring professional musicians launched in 2021.
The company is independent, led by Sserunjogi with a small team handling events production, monitoring and communications. Its stated focus is building professional infrastructure, mentorship and industry networks for independent artists in Uganda and the wider East African region, work it has carried out in partnership with organisations including the Goethe-Zentrum Kampala and the British Council.
CMH Live sits in the live-entertainment and artist-development segment of the Ugandan music industry rather than recording or distribution, positioning itself as a training and performance pipeline for musicians who might otherwise have no formal route into the professional circuit.
