Africa House is a members club and cultural platform for African and diaspora creatives, operated as the culture arm of Africa Creative Agency. It works nomadically rather than from a fixed venue, staging invitation-based activations and pop-up events in cities including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lagos, New York and London. Its public launch as a members club took place in Camden, London, over the Notting Hill Carnival weekend in September 2025.
Ownership sits with Africa Creative Agency, a Johannesburg-based entertainment and talent management company founded by Colin Gayle and Yvette Davis-Gayle, which lists Africa House among its own businesses alongside WAV. Festival. The agency is independently held by its founders and partners, with no disclosed outside or major-label shareholding, and its wider business covers music management, label services, publishing and film and television production. Jade Kelly Wilson, who joined the agency as Partner and Head of Music and Culture in 2025, leads Africa House.
Its bearing on the music business is through access and programming rather than rights. Africa House is named as the curator of Swift Academy, a talent development programme created with Martell that began its rollout in Kenya with a stated target of 100 emerging creatives in its first year, connecting participants with mentors and industry networks. Earlier events have been staged with the streaming platform Audiomack and the artist development company LVRN.
