Zulumecca Names Maglera Doe Boy and Flvme as SA Rappers She’d Like to Collaborate With

South African rapper Zulumecca has named Maglera Doe Boy and FLVME as two artists she would like to collaborate with, following their joint single “Yahoo Boyz.”

During a question-and-answer session on her Instagram Stories, a user asked which South African rapper she would like to work with. As “Yahoo Boyz” played in the background, Zulumecca replied:

“Both the artists on this song”

“Yahoo Boyz” release

“Yahoo Boyz” arrived in June 2026 as Maglera Doe Boy’s return with new solo material and the first release in his “Mondays in Maglera” rollout. An official music video followed in July.

Maglera has described the record as the beginning of a new chapter. He has also said FLVME’s contribution was connected to his admiration for the rapper and his earlier music.

Zulumecca’s recent work

Zulumecca’s catalogue already includes collaborations with several established names in South Africa’s hip-hop scene. Her previous work includes:

  • Priddy Ugly, including “Soul Food”
  • Ginger Trill
  • Loatinover Pounds
  • Stogie T, including the 2020 single “Food and Liquor”

Her latest album, “The Limit Does Not Exist,” was released on July 31, 2026. The project features Ginger Trill, KindlyNxsh, Priddy Ugly, Loatinover Pounds and Lordkez. It followed her 2022 project “WEPT.” and 2024 EP “SEAMS.”

Before the album’s release, Zulumecca introduced parts of the project through singles including “CAP” and “7Colours.” The latter features Priddy Ugly and Loatinover Pounds.

No collaboration announced

No collaboration between Zulumecca and either Maglera Doe Boy or FLVME has been officially announced. Her comments identify both artists as names she has expressed interest in working with after their joint appearance on “Yahoo Boyz.”
