Bayimba International Festival of the Arts

Bayimba Cultural Foundation is a Ugandan arts organisation established in 2006 and formally registered in 2007 to develop visual and performing arts in Uganda and East Africa. Its flagship event, the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts, launched in 2008 and is now in its 18th edition, presenting music, dance, film, theatre and visual arts, most recently on Lunkulu Island in Lake Victoria.

Beyond the festival, the foundation runs a year-round venue, the Bayimba Centre for Visual and Performing Arts, plus an artist training academy, a production arm and Culture Unlimited Radio.
