Dove Records was a Nigerian record label founded by the producer Nelson Brown as his own imprint. It released Plantashun Boiz’s debut album Body and Soul in 2000, produced in full by Brown, and the group’s second album Sold Out in 2003.
The label was independent, with no major-label parent or investor identified in available sourcing. No Corporate Affairs Commission filing was located, Nigeria’s company registry having no public search interface, so the entry rests on Nigerian music journalism and on release credits.
Plantashun Boiz separated in 2004 when 2face Idibia left for a solo career on Kennis Music, and Dove Records did not survive the split. Streaming reissues of Body and Soul from 2022 carry a credit to Dove Entertainment Limited, a possible successor name, though no source confirms it is the same operating company. The label has no web presence, historical or current.
