The Uganda Performing Right Society (UPRS) is Uganda’s collective management organisation for music, based in Kampala and founded in 1985 by Ugandan authors and musicians. It is recognised by the government as a collecting society and is a member of CISAC.
UPRS licenses the public performance and broadcast of music, and collects and distributes royalties to composers, authors and publishers in Uganda.
