Pearl Publishing LLC, based in Melba, Idaho, United States, announced on Sept. 8, 2026 that it has released, effective immediately, a free downloadable PDF of what it describes as the complete transcription of the gold plates of Mormon and his son Moroni.
The publisher said it received literary permission from a group that identifies itself as the Real Illuminati.
What the PDF includes#
The downloadable transcription is presented as a single reading of the gold plates of Mormon and his son Moroni. It includes:
- the 1830 Book of Mormon
- the 2004 Sealed Portion
- a retranslation of the 1828 116-page lost manuscript
Release timing#
Pearl Publishing said the date was deliberately chosen to coincide with the anniversary of the Mountain Meadows Massacre of September 7, 1857, and described the free PDF as a public counter-record.
About the Real Illuminati#
The Real Illuminati, also known as the Three Nephites and John, the Beloved, is described in the announcement as an esoteric, private group that works confidentially behind the scenes of society.
The group said it opposes superstition, religious influence over public life, abuses of government power, and obscurantism, which the announcement defines as the practice of deliberately preventing facts or full details of a situation or event from becoming known. Its stated intent is to influence critical thinking and free thought against corruption when acts of authority inhibit individual free will.
