South African producer, pianist and DJ The Bless has confirmed that his EP Ng’cel Ungblesse will be released on August 28, 2026. The announcement gives a firm date to a project that has been teased through studio previews and a list of guest appearances.

His contribution to Marketplace 2.0 was recognised by the estate of jazz musician Hugh Masekela. He also featured on Mörda’s Asante IV album on Aroso.
EP details and rollout
Ng’cel Ungblesse is rooted in The Bless’s musical identity and his connection to soulful church music. Originally from Spruitview in South Africa’s East Rand, the artist has built his reputation through Amapiano and deep house collaborations, bringing his skills as a keyboardist and producer into the project.
Studio previews connected to the rollout have pointed to appearances from Nvcho, Soulful G, Mzizi Mthintheki and Chymamusique. The Bless has encouraged listeners to use his official links to access the pre-save ahead of the digital release.
