Michel Pumar, Chief Strategy Officer of Leader Entertainment, said: “It is a privilege for us to build this working partnership with a company of Sony Music Publishing’s global stature.”

Pumar added: “This alliance will allow us to strengthen our shared capabilities, drive the creation of new content, and innovate across formats that generate new opportunities to continue expanding our most iconic intellectual properties internationally.”

Oscar Galvan, Managing Director, South Cone, at Sony Music Publishing, said: “Our partnership with Leader Entertainment is an exciting opportunity to build on the extraordinary success of the El Reino Infantil catalog while creating new possibilities across our global creative community.”

Galvan added: “Powered by our expert teams across Argentina and Mexico, we look forward to expanding the reach of this truly iconic catalog as it continues to inspire millions of children and families around the world.”

Content and live footprint#

The catalog will be administered worldwide, with the two companies collaborating on new releases and formats. El Reino Infantil’s content is produced and adapted in 11 languages and is available across YouTube, streaming and television platforms, gaming, consumer products and live experiences.

Through its flagship brand La Granja de Zenón, the company produces live shows and theatrical experiences that have reached audiences in more than 20 countries. Those productions have staged over 800 performances and sold nearly 1.5 million tickets to date.

Leader Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Felipe de Stefani and Sony Music Publishing Managing Director, Mexico, Roman Lopez were among those at the signing.

Latin division activity#

The agreement adds to recent activity at Sony Music Publishing’s Latin division, led by President and CEO, Latin America and U.S. Latin, Jorge Mejia. The publisher promoted Monica Jordan to Vice President of Creative A&R (artists and repertoire) for its Latin division in July 2025 and renewed its global agreement with songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera in 2024.

Recorded music revenues in Latin America grew 17.1% in 2025, making it the fastest-growing region in the world, according to the Global Music Report 2026 from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). In the US, Latin music generated USD $542.2 million in wholesale recorded music revenues in the first half of 2026, up 8.6% year over year, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
