Pegasus Publishing showcases African learning at Ghana Book Fair

Pegasus Publishing Limited is showcasing educational titles, storybooks and animation projects at the 23rd Ghana International Book Fair in Accra, Ghana.

Pegasus Publishing

Pegasus Publishing Limited is exhibiting a range of educational and creative titles at the 23rd Ghana International Book Fair at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.

The annual event is organized around the theme “Transforming Ghana’s Future Through Books.” It has drawn publishers, authors, educators, students, booksellers and literary enthusiasts to examine the role of books in education, culture and national development.

Academic titles on display#

At the Pegasus stand, visitors can review educational titles developed for learners at different stages. The academic list includes:

  • Pegasus Economics for senior high school (SHS)
  • English Language for junior high school (JHS) and SHS
  • Biology for SHS
  • General Science for SHS
  • Creative Arts for JHS

These publications are designed to support Ghanaian students, teachers, schools and parents with relevant educational content.

Storybooks and animation#

Beyond classroom titles, Pegasus is showing storybooks that use relatable characters and everyday experiences to encourage young readers to think, question and explore.

The company is also developing animation projects that show how stories and educational content can move beyond print and reach audiences through visual storytelling. For a generation growing up in a digital environment, animation offers a way to make African stories more dynamic, accessible and engaging. Characters introduced in books can extend into animation, digital media and other creative formats.

Education, creativity and technology#

Pegasus Publishing’s participation in the fair comes as discussions about reading are increasingly tied to education, creativity and technology. The company describes its position as the intersection of education, literature, creativity and technology, with the view that every good book can be the beginning of a much bigger story.
