Nigeria’s VORSTAR Turns Betrayal Into New Single ‘ISSUES’

VORSTAR ‘ISSUES’ single

Nigerian artist VORSTAR has released a new single, “ISSUES”, built from a true-life experience of betrayal.

The track follows the continued momentum of his BBV EP, which remains active across streaming platforms. “ISSUES” recounts a friendship that soured after VORSTAR supported someone in a time of need, only to face a calculated backstab driven by greed and self-interest.

For VORSTAR, the response to betrayal from someone he once stood beside is music. The record channels frustration, disappointment, and hurt into emotion-heavy lyrics, a smooth and memorable hook, and an honest delivery. The song does not attempt to disguise the pain.

The single is a musical reflection on trust, loyalty, greed, and the uncomfortable reality of discovering that not everyone you show up for will show up for you.
