Lynox, a Nigerian singer-songwriter from Ajegunle, Lagos, has released a four-track EP titled “Love & Herbs”.
The project focuses on balance through love, nature, healing and human connection. It marks a new creative chapter for the artist, who has built a career as a songwriter and performer, worked with other artists, and previously gained recognition as a solo act and as one half of the duo Playaz.
The EP’s four songs explore different ways people search for peace in a fast-moving world.
- “Mr Farmer” is a reggae-inspired track that celebrates people who cultivate the land and sustain communities.
- “Control Me” examines the vulnerability of falling deeply in love, using soulful chords, gentle rhythms and expressive vocals to capture the feeling of surrendering to someone who changes your perspective.
- “Kiss From Heaven” is a tender record.
- “Marijuana” carries a freedom-inspired energy.
“Love & Herbs” is the latest release from Lynox.
