The song was written and composed by Kdel, with production by SK Baddest. It draws on real-life experiences to emphasize the value of recognizing people who truly stand by you.
Kdel, born Kolawole Akindele, started his music career in Abuja before moving to Lagos and later relocating to the United Kingdom, where he continues to refine his sound and reach broader audiences.
Outside music, Kdel founded CCBS Gang, short for Cute Chubby Boy Something, a movement built around confidence, resilience and self-belief.
