Michael Marinho, an R&B and pop singer-songwriter, has released two new singles, Incognito and Take Me Home, his first new music since the 2025 track Peek-at-Chu.
The songs examine contrasting sides of love and emotional attachment.
Incognito takes an upbeat, playful approach to the instinct to pull away after heartbreak, capturing the tension between seeking connection and guarding against vulnerability.
Take Me Home is more reflective, centering on gratitude, memories and comfort that can remain after a relationship has changed.
Together, the two tracks present different responses to love: avoiding it for self-protection and accepting its absence with grace.
Marinho described the release as a deliberate return, saying he wanted the comeback to feel meaningful rather than simply maintain visibility.
