“Somemu Yie” and the album’s core
The album’s centerpiece is “Somemu Yie”, a lively dancehall-driven track performed in Twi. Its message is simple and relatable: taking a loved one for granted risks losing them. Rather than a solemn warning, the song delivers that theme over an infectious groove built from drums, bass lines, synth riffs, organ, percussion and layered keyboard rhythms. The result is a track designed to get listeners moving.
