Singapore-based GeeLark said on Sept. 8, 2026, that it has expanded its cloud phone platform for teams managing social media work across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other mobile-first platforms. The update targets agencies, brands, and content teams that need to scale Android environments without adding more physical devices.
Managing physical phones at scale#
Physical smartphones work well when a team needs only a few devices. At larger scale, the operational work around those devices becomes a separate burden.
Teams must buy and replace hardware, keep devices charged, manage operating system and app updates, maintain network settings, provide remote access, and track which device belongs to which client or project. Large collections of physical smartphones are sometimes called phone farms, but for legitimate social media teams the core issue is simpler: every added device adds hardware that must be stored, maintained, accessed, and organized.
Cloud phones as software-managed infrastructure#
A cloud phone runs remotely and can be accessed through a computer, rather than tying an Android environment to a physical phone on a desk. Teams can create mobile environments when needed, organize them by project, and manage them from a central workspace.
This turns the Android environment into a software-managed resource instead of hardware that must always be physically available. Distributed teams benefit because a device no longer has to be passed between employees or remain plugged in at a specific office.
GeeLark’s centralized workspace#
Each GeeLark cloud phone operates as a separate Android environment with its own storage, app data, login sessions, and network configuration. Teams can keep different projects and mobile workflows organized without relying on a growing collection of physical devices.
Cloud phone environments can be configured based on project requirements, including:
- Android versions
- Device models
- Language
- Location
- Network or proxy settings
For an agency managing different brands or regional campaigns, cloud phone profiles can be grouped by client or project. Access can be managed across team members while the environments remain available remotely through the same workspace.
Automation and API workflows#
GeeLark combines cloud phones with automation tools for mobile workflows. Teams can use ready-made automation templates for common tasks, build custom in-app workflows with RPA (robotic process automation), or use application programming interfaces (APIs) to connect cloud phones and automation tasks with internal systems.
Content teams can prepare content in advance, assign workflows to different cloud phone environments, schedule repetitive publishing tasks, and review execution results without manually operating every device. RPA turns repeated Android app actions into reusable workflows, while APIs allow technical teams to connect cloud phone operations with content systems, scheduling tools, scripts, or internal dashboards.
GeeLark provides cloud phone and automation tools for teams managing mobile-first social media workflows. Its platform combines cloud-based Android environments, team management, automation templates, RPA, and API capabilities in a single workspace.
