YBNL Nation is a Nigerian record label founded in Lagos in 2012 by the artist Olamide Adedeji, who runs it. Its roster has included Olamide himself, Fireboy DML, Lil Kesh, Lyta, Viktoh and Chinko Ekun, with Adekunle Gold among its former signings.
The label is independent and owned by Olamide. It has taken no major-label parent, and its relationship with the US company EMPIRE is a distribution and publishing arrangement rather than an ownership stake.
That arrangement, a joint venture covering global distribution and publishing, was announced on 19 February 2020 and gave the label international reach while leaving control in Lagos. YBNL is one of the more durable artist-founded independents in Nigerian music, and it functions as a development route for younger acts rather than solely as a release vehicle for its founder. It has no website, operating through Facebook, X and Instagram.
