Vth Season is an independent South African record label and artist-development company co-founded by Raphael Benza and Ninel Musson, who serves as chief operating officer. It has built its reputation on artist development and creative music marketing rather than a large roster; current signees include Ami Faku, Benny Afroe and Manu WorldStar.

The label’s most prominent early signing was rapper AKA (Kiernan Forbes), whose 2011 debut album Altar Ego it released. It also signed Congolese-South African singer Tresor and held the master recordings to his first two albums, VII (2015) and The Beautiful Madness (2017), until Tresor’s own company, Jacquel Entertainment Group, bought those masters back in a deal reported in October 2024. Vth Season now continues in an advisory and marketing role on select Tresor projects.

Ownership: independent, co-founded and run by Benza and Musson. No parent group or distributor is named in the sources reviewed.
