Sub Sahara Entertainment is a Nairobi record label founded and run by Kenyan producer Suzanne Gachukia-Opembe. It is registered with KAMP, the Kenya Association of Music Producers, as a producer of sound recordings under the name Sub Sahara Ltd, and handles composing, producing, packaging, distribution and marketing for its artists.
The label’s roster includes Zzero Sufuri, KusMa, Nuclear, Teejay Kere, Dan Rei, KushBoi, Sir Nganga, BwanaNgoma, Cewa and Kibby-a-Freak. Its catalogue dates back at least to 2012, when it released Camp Mulla’s debut album, and its earlier roster has included Mercy Myra and Abbi.
In September 2025, Sub Sahara Entertainment formed a joint-venture label, Strictly-Sub Sahara Entertainment, with the UK’s Strictly Entertainment Music, aimed at giving its East African artists wider international distribution and visibility. The label has no standalone corporate website; its main public channel is its Facebook page.
