PLAYY. Records is the record label arm of PLAYY., a London music company whose own site describes its activities as UK music PR, press and radio plugging, music promotion and band promotion, publicity, event promotion and a label. It publishes alongside PLAYY. Magazine at theplayground.co.uk.
The label was described in African trade coverage of June 2026 as an “international electronic music label” when it signed the South African Afro-house producer Prince Kaybee, whose first release under the arrangement, Heno Babayo, came out on 26 June 2026, followed by Veliry featuring Ben September on 21 August 2026.
Both of those releases carry the phonogram credit “℗ 2026 PLAYY. Records”. That is a claim of ownership of the master recording by the label, and it is a change in posture from the artist’s preceding self-released singles of 2024 and 2025, which carried “℗ Prince Kaybee”.
The company’s founding date and registered legal entity could not be established. Its own site carries no incorporation details, and the United Kingdom Companies House API requires a key this desk does not hold, so no filing was checked.
