Obouo Music is the production structure of Ivorian producer David Monsoh. Through it, Monsoh released two posthumous DJ Arafat albums assembled from recordings the artist left behind: “In Memory – DJ Arafat,” the subject of a legal complaint announced in July 2025, and “Unique,” released 8 May 2026 while that complaint was still unresolved.
Monsoh is reported by Lavenir.ci to have written that he had not contacted the artist’s rights holders before the first release. No production or licensing contract establishing Obouo Music’s rights to the recordings, and no Côte d’Ivoire company registry record, has been located.
