Nine+ Records is a record label founded by Nigerian artist Davido (David Adedeji Adeleke), announced on 18 April 2024 in partnership with US distribution company UnitedMasters. Davido leads A&R and artist development personally, with the venture positioned to sign talent across Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, Latin and country rather than staying genre-bound to Afrobeats.
The label is independent and Davido-owned; UnitedMasters, led by founder Steve Stoute, provides distribution, brand-partnership and sync support under the announced partnership, whose equity terms have not been disclosed. Shortly after the launch, Davido moved the roster of his earlier label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), across to Nine+, including Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Morravey and Logos Olori.
No dedicated Nine+ Records website has been located; the label’s activity is tracked through Davido’s own channels, UnitedMasters’ announcements and trade coverage of its artist moves.
