Ker Madoky, trading as Madoky Music, is a Dakar-based music company founded and run by Abibou Mbaye, who previously worked at Live Nation, WME and Universal Music Africa. The company describes itself as a group of four connected arms: Madoky Music, the label handling artist development, production and international distribution; Madoky Publishing, which manages copyright and collects royalties; Madoky Productions, which handles touring and export, working with Paris-based Dolphin Productions for the European market; and Madoky School, a music-industry training operation.
Its roster includes Orchestra Baobab, Daby Touré, Marcia, Djam & TiMoh and Dady Thioune. In October 2026, Madoky co-released Orchestra Baobab’s Made In Senegal, the band’s first new studio album in nine years, jointly with the UK/Germany label Strut Records, and it has also listed a 2026 European tour for the band on its site.
Madoky positions itself as a bridge between West African artists and international markets, with Dakar as its base and smaller export-facing presences in Paris, Abidjan and London.
