Its own website describes it as “an imprint of Swangz Avenue”, the Ugandan record label and production company founded in 2008. The phrase “Distributed by Kelele Digital” appears in the phonographic copyright notice on 165 releases read on Apple Music’s United States storefront, 129 of which name Swangz Avenue as the owner of the recording. It states that clients keep full ownership of their masters and that it takes no rights.
