Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE)

Based in
Nigeria

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE) is the Nigerian government department responsible for the country’s cultural and creative sectors, including music. Hannatu Musa Musawa formally assumed leadership of the restructured ministry, which absorbed the tourism portfolio, on 23 October 2024. The ministry is the sponsor of the Creative Economy Development Fund, issued the fund’s official rollout strategy and its two public calls for proposals, and in April 2025 signed a separate three-year partnership with Chocolate City Group covering small-scale live arenas, talent development, global distribution channels and intellectual property frameworks.
