Dr Dolor Entertainment is a Lagos-based Nigerian record label and music distribution company founded and run by Osadolor Nate Asemota, known professionally as Dr Dolor. Asemota signed singer Teni (Teniola Apata) in 2017, and the label released her early hits “Case” and “Uyo Meyo” as well as her 2021 debut album WONDALAND, before she exited the label and went independent.
The label is independent, with no parent company or distributor identified in the sources available to this desk. Beyond Teni, it has also been reported to have signed artists including Ryan and Vanila.
Its place in Nigerian music history rests almost entirely on discovering and developing Teni in the years before she became one of Nigeria’s best-known Afropop artists, a role documented in Nigerian entertainment press at the time of her signing and in later interviews with Asemota.
