Its own YouTube channel describes it as founded “by a team of African and global experts in music management and business investment, with the sole objective of developing the African music market through capital investment and expertise support”, and says the company “operates a fund focused on three foundational areas: Capital Investment, Catalogue Acquisition, and Building Sustainable Institutions”. The same description states that Bytetunes is based in Ghana.

No company registration matching the name Bytetunes was found on the Singapore register. Ghana’s company registry has no public search tool, so a Ghanaian registration could be neither found nor ruled out.
