Blackstar Holdings Group is a South African holding company named in Tiso Blackstar Group SE’s 6 March 2020 JSE announcement as the wholly-owned indirect subsidiary through which the group held, and then sold, its shares in Gallo Music Investments and Indigenous Film Distribution.
It was the selling party of record in the Gallo transaction, giving the representations, warranties and restraints in favour of buyer Arena Holdings. Its status following Tiso Blackstar’s 2020 JSE delisting could not be established from any document reviewed by this desk.
